Your Role

As a Logistics Officer, you are responsible for coordinating and executing the daily logistics operation of our St. Maarten branch. You ensure that deliveries are prepared accurately, routes run efficiently and customers receive excellent service. You are an important link between warehouse, sales, customers and suppliers. Besides logistics coordination, you help maintain an organized, safe and professional working environment while supporting the operational flow of the branch.

What We Expect From You 

1. Logistics & Operations

You are hands-on, reliable and solution-oriented. You enjoy working in an operational environment, take ownership of your responsibilities and know how to keep calm under pressure. You communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues, work accurately and are always willing to go the extra mile for the team.


2. Warehouse & Facility Management

  • Coordinating daily logistics flow with our external warehouse partner (Frigodom), who is responsible for warehousing and picking operations 

  • Receiving, checking and verifying all picked orders before loading onto the delivery trucks 

  • Ensuring correct loading and shipment accuracy prior to dispatch 

  • Managing and executing a correct return process for goods that need to be sent back, including registration and follow-up of corrections with Frigodrom 

  • Maintaining strong operational communication and alignment with warehouse staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency


3. Customer Service & Team Support

  • Acting as a professional representative of Salty Seafood Company during deliveries 

  • Communicating clearly with customers, suppliers and colleagues 

  • Supporting colleagues and other departments where needed 

  • Identifying operational improvements and communicating them to the Inside Sales Officer
